Support Our Vocational Programs for Teens and Adults with Autism and Other Developmental Disabilities
We are involved in providing opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities to be involved in a purposeful experience. Therefore, we provide training and employment opportunities to some of these individuals. We appreciate your donation to help offset the costs of supplies and labor in this endeavor. Our History
Since 1999, NARY has been offering community-based outings and activities to the South Florida Community for individuals with special needs and their families. Our organization recognized the need for inclusive experiences for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. In 2013, we began our support of vocational training and employment experiences for our population. We partner with The Chocolate Spectrum in Jupiter Florida to provide hands on vocational training and employment in the pastry arena.
Vocational Training
Since 2013, we have supported training over 50 individuals with autism or developmental disabilities. Many of these individuals have moved on to purposeful jobs within our community. Some have stayed on to become employees or to further their chocolate and pastry skills. Thanks to the assistance of the grantors and donors in our community, we have been able to continue our training programs.
